Pau Cubarsi, the Barcelona FC Star, faces traumatic face injury

During Barcelona’s 5-2 Champions League victory over Red Star Belgrade, defender Pau Cubarsi suffered a serious facial injury.As Barcelona FC deals with an unforeseen blow – Cubarsi’s recent injury — tension and interest grow. 

Although the young defender has shown tenacity, teammates and supporters are unsure of how fully recovered he is. 

In the 65th minute, as the 17-year-old leaned down to header the ball clear, Red Star player Uros Spajic’s boot struck him in the face. Due to a serious cut on his jawline from Spajic’s high challenge, Pau Cubarsi needed emergency medical attention and had to be replaced by Sergi Dominguez.
